Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, during his two-day tour of Latur and Beed districts, refrained from making any statements against the opposition or responding to their claims. He stated that his party has ample welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. Addressing a question about Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks on the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to better understand the basis of the statement. In his address at a large gathering in Majalgaon, Beed district, Pawar emphasized the government's commitment to inclusive development across all communities and urged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming elections. He stressed that his party upholds its secular principles and operates based on the values of historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted initiatives such as the "Jan Sanman Yatra" and the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana, providing financial support to hardworking women. He also mentioned other programs like free education for girls, waiving off electricity bills for farmers, and a crop insurance scheme. Additionally, Pawar discussed subsidies and increased honorarium for various roles within communities.He expressed confidence that the ongoing schemes would persist for the next five years with the support of Mahayuti in the upcoming elections.
